XTL Transport is looking for a Shunter for a permanent position at our Varennes Terminal. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for moving trailers around the yard, as well as opening and closing the doors giving access to these trailers. He/she will also be required to visually inspect the tractor and perform any other related tasks as required. Responsibilities: Move trailers and/or containers as required; Open and close trailer and container doors; Handle security seals; Increased communication with Operations Technician; Responsible for trailer and container inventory; Responsible for truck management (daily inspection); Works in conjunction with the Snow Removal Operator; Depending on needs and requests, the candidate will also be required to drive trailers.
