The Investor Relations (IR) team is primarily responsible for ongoing communication with the investment community including existing and prospective institutional shareholders, as well as sell side equity research analysts. The team’s mandate also includes providing market intelligence to internal stakeholders. The AVP, Investor Relations is an integral part of the IR team, and is responsible for developing and managing effective communications between Manulife and the investment community, including shareholders and financial analysts, with the objective of achieving a fair valuation for MFC shares. The incumbent will be involved with all IR activities including, quarter end reporting, and the implementation of our shareholder engagement program, as well as a series of marketing events. I
